James L. Grammer
September 20, 1926 - September 26, 2009

James Lawrence Grammer, 83, of Batesville died Saturday, September 26, 2009, in a Little Rock hospital.
Born September 20, 1926, at Sulphur Rock, he was the son of William Cecil Grammer and Katherine Butler Grammer. He was a veteran of the Korean War, having served in the U.S. Army. He was a graduate of a photography school in New York and was a member of First United Methodist Church of Batesville.
Survivors include three nephews, James L. Rogers of Plano, Texas, William Grammer of Springfield, Virginia and John Grammer of Pensacola, Florida; a niece, Katherine Vonderhaar of Houston; and a cousin, Neva Cook Ball of Batesville.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, William C. Grammer; and a sister, Margaret G. Rogers.
There will be a private memorial service at a later date.
Cremation services are by Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.
