Vivian M. Riley Richardson, 86, of Sulphur Rock, died Monday, September 28, 2009 peacefully in her home surrounded by family. She was born February 22, 1923 in Sylamore, Arkansas and was the daughter of Earl and Julia (Payne) Riley. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, homemaker, and was of the Baptist faith.
Vivian is survived by her husband of 67 years, Carl “Cricket” Richardson of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Billy M. and Marsha Richardson of Sulphur Rock; a daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Ardell Huff of Pfeiffer; eight grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Joline Burrow; and three brothers: Frank Riley, Vaughn Riley and Don Riley.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Betty Ann Richardson; two sons: Jackie Carl Richardson and Donald Keith Richardson; grandchildren: Jackie Earl Richardson, Lisa Huff, Rebecca Richardson; two sisters: Anna Faye Riley, Daisy Felder; and three brothers: Buford Riley, Jimmy Riley and Homer Riley.
There will be no visitation.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Barnes Cemetery with Jimmy Doyle Payne officiating.
Arrangements are by Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.
