Peggy Drace Provost, 91, of Jonesboro, formerly of Marked Tree, passed away peacefully and entered into Heaven on February 22, 2018 after a long illness.

Peggy was the youngest child born to the late John Love and Eunice Drace. In addition to her parents; her husband of 56 years, W.H. "Dude" Provost, brothers John Drace, Jr. and Donald Drace, and sister Mildred Lewis preceded her in death.

She is survived by one son, Richard Provost (Betty) of Marion; one granddaughter, Beth Provost of Dallas; one grandson, Brett Provost (Kim) of Jonesboro and one great grandson, Drace Provost of Jonesboro. Her sister, Dorothy Mock of Cherokee Village, also survives her.

Peggy was a member of Marked Tree United Methodist Church where she served as Sunday School Superintendent for several years. She also served in the Ladies Auxiliary of Crittenden Memorial Hospital for many years as well.

A private graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 24. The family would like to thank Dr. Douglas Maglothin and the staff of Craighead Nursing Center for their kindness and care of our beloved mother and grandmother.
