Helen Ruth Carmichael passed away peacefully at the age of 90 on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 in Southaven, Mississippi. She was born May 17, 1927 in Ramer, Tennessee to parents Jessie and Vernice Teague. She later met the love of her life, Edward Carmichael and the two spent over 60 years together before God called him home. Helen was a lifelong member of the West Memphis First Baptist Church. She proudly gave her time working with the church and members. She had a passion for the preschool toddlers.

Helen is survived by two daughters; Sheila Bagley, widow of (Charles) of Galveston, Texas and Debra Cooley (Danny) of Collierville, Tennessee. She leaves behind one sister Glenda Hamm of Ramer, Tennessee and one brother Ben Teague of Memphis, Tennessee. She will be forever missed by four grandchildren; Sean Bagley, Denise Harrison, Michelle Kirkendoll and Christy Forrest as well as 9 great-grandchildren. Helen was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one sister, Geneva Lowe.
