It's been five years since Beverly passed, and I still think of her often. She is my role model for how a teacher should be. When I got my teaching degree, I called her to tell her she was the biggest reason I chose this career. She made everyone who knew her feel loved and appreciated. All of us who knew her will keep her beloved memory alive for as long as we live.
I just read of Beverly's passing. She was such a nice person and I know she will be greatly missed. Please know that all of you are in Dale's and my prayers. May God bless you all. Dale and Cleda Simpson

We are both sorry for your loss! I had told Deon once that his mom looked familiar. I realized later that because my dad was coaching girls basketball around the time she graduated that I remembered her playing basketball at cushman.
We were sad to hear of Beverly’s passing. I always think fondly of playing with cousin Beverly, Anita, and Lynn when we were kids. Our thoughts and prayers are with her children and grandchildren. Love Steve & Jane.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Stevens family. Mrs. Stevens touched the lives of many and will forever be remembered for her sweet voice, gentle heart, and commitment to education. She not only touched my childrens lives but made such a strong impact on me personally as I ventured on my future while working with her at Cushman School.
I did not know Mrs. Stevens but i work with her son Dion. Everything I have heard and read she was a wonderful lady. I know she is up in heaven with her Lord and Savior. One more angel.

I am so very sorry for the passing of Beverly. She was a dedicated teacher. We attended Arkansas College together and shared our birth date. She was a good friend and she loved her family. Thinking of you during this sad time. Phyllis Russell
One could survey far and near and none would have a negative word to say about Beverly. Her life was a witness of Christian living. She was a gentle, loving soul with the warmest of smiles and twinkling eyes. Others knew to trust her and always felt comforted in her presence. Those of us lucky enough to call her friend will forever be better people because of her.
Keeping everyone in our thoughts and prayers.
