Ruby Crawford, 94, of Quitman, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2017. She was born January 6, 1923 in Quitman to the late Guy and Ethel Rickman. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harry Crawford; two sisters, Marvel Thomas and Marceil Jones; grandson, Jimmy Wessel; and great-grandson, Joshua Joyner.

Ruby was a manicurist and hairdresser. She read electric meters for Petit Jean Electric until she was 80 years old and also worked as a caregiver. During WWII she worked in Detroit inspecting ammunition loaded into planes. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She loved gardening and enjoyed doing crafts with her sister. She loved everyone and was sweet to all.

She is survived by four daughters, Lana Millan, Linda Wessel, Ronda Acosta, and Charlotte Powell; nine grandchildren, John Millan, Robert Millan, Angela Porter, Darrel Wessel, Guy Acosta, Sophia Acosta, Teresa Joyner, Dr. Michael Young, and Charlene Gaither; eighteen great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. Interment at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Quitman.
