Madell Levenia Hice, 93, a resident of Paris passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2017, in Fort Smith.

She was born January 19, 1924, in Dumas, Arkansas to the late William Bryan and Mary Alma (Wells) Carter. Madell was a wife, mother and sister. Madell loved flowers, quilting and crocheting. As a member of the First Assembly of God in Paris, her personal ministry was card ministry work for all members. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Ray Hice.

Survivors include her two daughters, Shirley Mae Brooks of Scranton and Margaret Ann Jones of Paris; a sister, Bobbie Jean Orellana of Memphis, Tennessee; nine grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren and twenty six great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 15, 2017, at the First Assembly of God in Paris.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 15, 2017, at the First Assembly of God in Paris with the Rev. Kenny Maness officiating. Burial will follow in Clark Chapel Cemetery near Driggs under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.

Pallbearers will be Ray Wylie, Gary Wylie, Robert Hice, Johnny Hice, Wes Powell and Duncan Sisson. Dale Walker will serve as honorary pallbearer.

Sorry to hear this news. Madell always had a big smile and knew all about me and my Rogers family. When we were the Dari Delite she came in very often. Prayers for each one of her family members.
