Rudy Frans, 69, of Lexa, Arkansas passed away Monday, December 4, 2017 in Southaven, Mississippi.
Mr. Frans was born November 19, 1948 at Helena, Arkansas to the late John Richard and Hazel Pruett Frans. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army in which he served two tours in Vietnam, a retired employee of Ciba Chemical Company and of the Baptist faith. He loved motorcycles, hunting and fishing.
Mr. Frans is survived by a sister, Sandra Frans Stevens of Lexa; brother, James Frans (Mary) of West Helena, Arkansas; niece, Lisha Jumper; and three nephews, Tead Kinman, Brad Frans and Bart Frans.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial services for Rudy Frans will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 8, 2017 at the Marvell United Methodist Church. Brother Gary Maskell will officiate.
Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Helena is in charge of arrangements (870) 572-2571.

I have known Rudy for many years . We rode motorcycle's together some. He was truly a nice guy. I had a chance to visit with him a couple of months ago. He will be missed by all.

James and Sandra my prayers and best wishes for you and all of your family. From the day you all moved to 4th street Rudy was a larger than life character in my life as well as a real, true friend.
Yes my wife and I had the good fortune of staying with Rudy for our 50th reunion and I am so grateful. He will be greatly missed.
Rudy had a real relationship with Our Father God and we will all get to be with Rudy in God’s presence again in due time. For that I am grateful.

Rudy, you will be missed by all.
