I am so proud to read the accomplishments of my first cousin Dr. Norman Abell. His father Harry Abell was my father's brother and my Uncle. I am saddened to hear of Dr. Norman's passing. I see he too is a Baptist Christian as myself. I plan to see my Abell family heritage in heaven. I am very regretful that I did not do more to seek my Abell side and work harder to become better aquainted them all. If I had it to do over I would have worked harder to become closer and have a meaningful and long and loving relationship with them all. I know Norm's brother Harry "Bud" Abell played football for the famed Missouri Coach Dan Devine and also his home town Kansas City Chiefs. Forever love No 52 and all of my Abell family. Norman may have been a pallbearer at my father's funeral at Forrest Hills in KC, MO after Christmas around 1967. God bless Norman's family and all of the Abell extebded family members. With love, in Christ, Don

So sorry for your loss may you find peace and comfort in the words spoken at 2 Corinthians 1:3 & 4" ( 3) Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, (4 ) who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God

Dear Gladys, Mardi, Kristen, Bryn, and family,
Tom and I are saddened by the news of such a tremendous loss. It is our prayer that you will feel God's assuring peace and presence during this time. Deuteronomy 31:8 says, "The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged." We hope the knowledge that you are not alone in your grief and God is faithfully walking with you during this time will be a comfort. You have all our love and faithful prayers.

Dear Gladys, Mardi, Bryn, Kristen, and family,
Tom and I are saddened at the sudden loss of a dear husband, and father. We serve such a big God and it is a blessing to know that even in our grief we are never alone. Deuteronomy 31:8 says,"It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed." Our prayer is that you feel the peace and assurance of His presence with you during this time. You are loved and our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I'm thankful for a Dad who loved us and gave us amazing experiences. Fond memories include learning to sail together, boating, camping, photography, touring the USA in a VW bus (one trip was 8 weeks, another was 6 weeks), working on my Austin Healy Sprite together, Lynx Trips and climbing mountains, singing in the car, and more. I'm so thankful that our parents helped guide us to trust Jesus and we're comforted to know we will see Dad again.

Thank you, Gladys, for your beautiful, faithful love, friendship, co-adventuring, and care for Dad. You loved him well!

And thank you, Mountain Home community for your friendship and support of Dad and Gladys for 20+ years. That means so much to us "girls!"
