Shirley Ann (Fick) Goodwin, 81, of Batesville, Arkansas, died Saturday, October 14, 2017, at White River Medical Center in Batesville.

Born August 6, 1936, in Kingston, Michigan, she was the daughter of Ray C. Fick and Bernice (Butler) Fick.

Shirley retired from White-Rodgers. She helped take care of lots of children, who were very special to her. She was a homemaker and an active member of Rehobeth Baptist Church.

Shirley is survived by two sons, Charles Goodwin and wife, Debbi, and Dennis Goodwin and wife, Annette, all of Batesville; two daughters, Rose Ann Houston and husband, Sam of Bradford, Arkansas and Bernice Martin and husband, Donny of Batesville; eight grandchildren, Stephanie Falwell, John Falwell, Kristie Meachum and husband Todd, Cory Goodwin, Cody Goodin and wife Ruthie, Jesse Martin and wife Sarah, Katie Jackson and husband Nick, and Matt Martin and wife Shawnda; twelve great-grandchildren, Tristan Falwell, Isla Falwell, Sawyer Falwell, Tanner Meachum, Easton Meachum, Lawson Martin, Easton Jackson, Mason Jackson, Hali Martin, Madison Martin, Lexus Martin and Justin Mason; four brothers, Keith Fick, Ray Fick, Roy Fick, and Ron Fick, all of Michigan; and one sister, Betty Hayden, also of Michigan.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles T. Goodwin; grandson, Chris Goodwin; brothers, Robert Fick and Max Fick; stepbrother, Leo; stepsisters, Margaret and Pearl; and special friend, Larry Thompson.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, October 19, 2017, at Rehobeth Baptist Church in Moorefield with Bro. Bob Womack and Bro. Charles Crowson officiating.

Pallbearers will be John Falwell, Cody Goodwin, Jesse Martin, Matt Martin, Cory Goodwin, Tristan Falwell, Tanner Meachum, and Justin Mason.

Honorary pallbearers are Easton Jackson, Mason Jackson, John David Morgan, John Paul Morgan, and John Thomas Morgan.

Burial will be in Rehobeth Cemetery under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.

Visitation is from 2:00-3:00 p.m., Thursday, October 19, 2017, at the church prior to the service.
