James Thomas Hazelip, of West Memphis, Arkansas passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on October 10, 2017 at the age of 77.
James was born April 16, 1940 and was the son of Tom and Mamie Hazelip.
He was a manager and retired from Coastal Unilube in West Memphis.
James was a family man who thought the world of his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. James led a spiritual life through the Marion First Assembly of God Church and was known to do anything for anyone without receiving anything in return.
He had an unconditional love for the mother of his children, Katherine Palmer.
James is survived by two sons; Michael Hazelip of Plumerville, Arkansas and Shawn Hazelip of Conway. He leaves three daughters; Sandy Stephens (Bob) of Little Rock, Arkansas, Debbie Gardner (Mike) of Hot Springs, Arkansas and Melinda Treadwell (Bruce) of Lowell, Arkansas. James will be dearly missed by 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren as well as his girlfriend Sharon Ivy.
James is preceded in death by his parents, a son James Thomas "Bubby" Hazelip and a sister Maxine Hobbs.
