Irene Elaine Ohlrich 99, of West Memphis, Arkansas and formerly of Cleveland Ohio, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on August 18, 2017. Irene was born May 5, 1918 in Republic, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Julius Wanyerka and Justina Piedylhauser. Irene saw many things throughout her lifetime. She was mostly a homemaker throughout the years and was known to her family as having the cleanest house in town. Irene had a strong bond with her lord. She was a long time attendee of the Christ Outreach Church of West Memphis. She is survived by her daughter Carol (Jerry) Blansett of West Memphis and a brother Edward Wanyerka of Parma, Ohio. One granddaughter, Haley Brown of West Memphis and two great grandchildren; Nolan and Norah Brown. Irene is preceded in death by her parents and twelve siblings; Augusta Wanyerka, Pauline Wanyerka, Josephine Wanyerka, Josephine Lawther, Molly Robinson, Elsie Brown, Emil Wanyerka, William Wanyerka, Julius Wanyerka and a second William Wanyerka. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes a contribution be made in Irene's name to the Christ Outreach Church of West Memphis.
