Charles Edward Young, 76, of Marion Arkansas passed away peacefully at his home on 4/26/17. By trade, Charles was a professional truck driver for over forty years however, to his family and friends, he was the world's best mechanic and ''fix-it'' man. He was great at fixing or repairing just about anything one can imagine. Charles was born August 1, 1940 to Harry V. and Mary L. Young. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Vickie Young; brothers; John E. Young, Raymond R. Young, sisters; Mary R. Holland, Anna F. Daniel and Laverne Richardson. Charles leaves behind a son; Tim Young of Marion, a daughter; Angela Young Moore (Hamilton) of Marion, sister Peggy Cavitt Barton of West Memphis and a brother; James Young of Oregon. CharSles also leaves behind two grand-children Zach Young and Colin Young who will greatly miss their grandfather. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests a contribution be made to the Marion Animal Shelter.

This is from my Mom and Dad, Sorry to hear about Charles, he was a good friend and always enjoyed working with him. We worked together for about 15 years driving trucks for Gulf Oil!!..... Good Man!!!!!

Timmy and Angie, we are so very sorry to learn of your father's passing. Your mom and dad were out first neighbors when we lived on Beechwood Cove in Marion. I know you won't remember us, but we have wonderful memories of both your mom and dad. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Our love to you both.
