Frank Kriehn III 78, went to a new adventure on February 22th 2017. He is survived by his wife Joanne Thompson Kriehn, two daughters, Cara (George) DeRoeck, Tracey (Kevin) Grace and Joanne's sons's Todd (Jeannie) Thompson and Scott (Orianna) Thompson. He also leaves behind seven grandchildren Cody Grace, James DeRoeck, and Caleb Grace as well as Abigail and Sarah Thompson; Nicolas and Lucas Thompson. He also leaves his beloved Unity Church family.

Frank was born in Lexington, Missouri where he attended Lexington Military Academy prior to joining the Navy. While in the Navy he served in the Vietnam Conflict. He later enlisted in the Coast Guard and had the opportunity to travel widely before retiring from service after a successful military career.

While in the Coast Guard Frank initially was trained as a mechanic but later trained to be a drug and alcohol counselor. He spent most of his life both in the military and in retirement working with people to maintain a healthy drug and alcohol free lifestyle. He has sponsored many people throughout his life.

Frank loved working on his home and property. Later in life he became a Master Gardener. He had great respect and love for the earth and nature. Frank loved movies and politics. He was a proud progressive democrat.

Frank is known to be a very reflective spiritual person. He has spent most of his life as a truth seeker. He is very involved in his church and is seen as an inspiration to many.

A memorial service will be held 1:00pm Monday, February 27th at Unity Church 2610 Reservoir Rd, Little Rock, AR 72227.
