Ruth was the dearest lady.. She will be so missed. I remember as a child going to her house and it was always a warm house .. Filled with love...I was named after her Mother.... I loved Ruth. Such a sweet person. She was my "cousin". I am the foster daughter of Annie Kirkendoll (Arthur's sister). Was so sad to log on and see her obituary. It tells me that our family is "moving on up." My regards to all you children and family of hers..You kids were younger than I, so you do not remember me. I know that she is happy now in God's presence. The important thing is to be ready for Jesus' call, like she was. God bless you all.

To all the family,
Ruth was a very very special lady that I loved very much.We worked together at Belden for many years,and then I got the honors of doing her hair for years.We have had a lot of times together.She loved the Lord with all her heart as she did her family.I am going to miss her a lot.She called me on my Birthday in March and I was not home but she sang Happy Birthday to me on my answering machine.I still have that message.I know she is now singing with the Angels in Heaven and what an Angel Heaven has now.Rita , Stacy,if there is anything I can do just let me know.God Bless you all! Ruth was always good to me. When I married Reed, she accepted me into the family with open arms. She and I have remained friends for all these years. Whenever we visited Louis and Ruth, she was always the perfect hostess, cooking for us and making us comfortable. When I last spoke with her about three weeks ago, she spoke proudly about her grandchildren. She always ended her conversations with me by telling me she loved me. Samuel says he loved her and will miss her. All my family sends you their love and prayers.
