Agnes Lunelle Beard, 81, of Kibler, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2010, surrounded by loving family. She was born December 15, 1928, in Kirkville, MS.
Agnes was a member of the Kibler Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She touched many lives and will be truly missed.
Agnes was preceded in death by her parents, William Robert and Bertie Myrtle Davis, and by eleven of her twelve siblings.
Agnes is survived by her husband of 66 years, Lonzo; her brother Willard of Harrisburg; three sons - Lonnie Beard and wife Amy of Fayetteville, Tom Beard and wife Pat of Lavaca, and Jerry Beard and his wife Amy of Fayetteville; two daughters - Teresa Wood and husband Jim of Southaven, MS, and Robbie McDonald and husband Allen of Greenwood; her beloved grandchildren - Ian, Eileen, Robert, and Sam Beard, Audra Bocksnick and husband Shane, Britney Stormer and husband Zach, Tyler Wood, Ashley and Eric McDonald; many nieces and nephews; and many friends.
The family will visit with friends from 6:00-8:00 pm on Monday, August 23 at Kibler Baptist Church. A celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday, August 24, 10 am at Kibler Baptist Church, Kibler, AR with Pastor Eric Green officiating. Burial will follow immediately at Gill Cemetery in Van Buren, AR under the direction of Roller Funeral Home, Paris.
Pallbearers will be Ian and Robert Beard, Zach Stormer, Shane Bocksnick, Eric McDonald, and Jim Wood.
Lonzo, Tom, Pat and all family members, May the memories of the past bring you comfort and the knowledge that many are holding you all in their prayers, be uplifting , now and in the days ahead. God Bless.
