Danny & Family,
I know too well your pain. Here is a prayer I wrote for myself. Maybe it will help you, too.
Dear Lord, Temper my being with Your strength for I will surely need it for many days. Purge my thoughts to one of Your grace for my mind is racing wildly. Force air into my lungs lest I forget to breathe. Cuddle my heart in Your loving arms for it has been torn from my chest and flood my soul with Your peace and comfort that comes only through faith in Your power.
In Jesus name, Amen. Love, Barb

Joey is my first cousin just a few years younger than I. He was a very spunky as a child and always moved to the beat of his own drum. So much to that beat that on many occasions that love for the outdoors would find him shirtless in the middle of winter, just for fun. I remember him hunting and fishing from practically the moment he was big enough to stand on his own two. As children we always ran around barefoot as if nothing could stop us. He is a wonderful part of my childhood and will be greatly missed. I love you Joey!
Your big cousin,
Deanna
Joey was a good father, friend and hunter. We hunted together on several occasions and he always shot the most rabbits or killed the biggest buck. There are many things about him that I am going to miss. His hunting and fishing stories are the best and the time we went to the chuckwagon races I will always cherish. Joey was saved and baptized last summer. I know now he's walking the streets of heaven.

I remember Joey's smile...it seemed that he smiled a lot. He also loved to pick on people, just kidding around. I know that he truly loved his kids and they adore him. I remember when he came over in August and told us that he had been saved and was getting baptized and he was so excited and we were happy for him. Joey was a great guy and he will truly be missed.

We are sorry for your lost, God bless ya and your family.
Aunt Edna and Uncle Danny, words can't express the sadness that I feel for you. Joey was a great person and he will be truly missed by all of us. I love you guys very much and you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Joey will forever be missed, I know God has greater plans for him and he is in a better place but you have to wonder why such a young man has to leave this world that way. He could always make you smile or laugh and was just such a good caring person. I know he loved his two children more than anything, thats all he could talk about when I would talk to him on the phone, which wasn't nearly enough. I will truly miss him, as I know alot of people will.
You will be missed Joey.
Words cannot express the deep sadness I feel or sympathy I would like to give each of you. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I trust God to help you through.
Just wanted to let you know our prayers are with you...I remember growing up with Joey, he was a great person to be around....He will be truely missed
Edna and Danny and family...There are no words of comfort during this time of great loss...If there's anything we can do, please don't hesitate to let us know...Please know that you're in our thoughts and prayers...
