Edna Faye Stell Gill, 80, of Conway, passed away Sunday, December 9, 2007 at Conway Regional Medical Center.
She was born September 11, 1927, in Plumerville, AR, to the late Christopher Columbus Stell and Eva Lee Oliger Stell.
Mrs. Gill was a graduate of the Arkansas State Teacher's College (now UCA) and retired as director of Faulkner County Social Services.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a great-granddaughter, Lauren Shaw.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Robert Barry Gill, Jr.; a daughter, Linda Skyrme of Conway; two grandsons, William Shaw and wife Sarah of Conway and Shannon Skyrme and wife Brandi of Kingston, AR; four great-grandchildren, Allison Shaw, Emile Shaw, Brandon Shaw, and Storm Skyrme; and by two sisters, Ruby Lee Dixon of Morrilton and Joan McDonald of Sanford, FL.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, Rev. Charles Murry officiating. Entombment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation is Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Jim McDonald, Don Dixon, Bob Riddle, Harl Griffin, Fay Pew, and Tony Weaver. Honorary pallbearers are William Shaw, Shannon Skyrme, L.G. Reynolds, and Tommy Padgett.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Lauren Shaw, to the First United Methodist Church building fund, 1610 Prince Street, Conway, AR, 72034.
