Ward Richardson, age 90, of Lead Hill, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2017. He was born August 25, 1926, in Boone County, Arkansas, the son of Robert and Ada (Richardson) Richardson. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Homer Richardson, Roy Richardson, Gray Richardson, Doy Richardson and Robert Richardson; his sisters, Gusty Richardson, Dorothy Richardson, Dovey Matlock and Ruth Price; his nephews, Bradley Richardson and Scott Richardson; and his niece, Shirley Schuh.

Ward was a cattle farmer in Boone County. He was a fishing guide for fourteen years on Bull Shoals Lake. Ward loved hunting and fishing and when he wasn't taking care of the farm, fishing, or hunting he was gardening. He also worked on power lines and road construction. Ward is the last of the local World War II Veterans that lived in Lead Hill.

Ward is survived by his wife, Dollye Richardson, of the home; his sons, James Richardson of Russellville, Arkansas, Ronald Richardson of Pea Ridge, Arkansas and Timmey Richardson of Lead Hill, Arkansas; his daughters, Wardell Cone of Everton, Arkansas and Ada Nell Richardson Lead Hill, Arkansas; his sister, Vita Seville, of Harrison, Arkansas; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation was Sunday, February 12, 2017, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.

Funeral service was Monday February 13, 2017, at Roller Christeson Funeral Home.

Interment was at Milum Cemetery, Lead Hill, Arkansas.

Pallbearers were Bill Arnold, Russell Arnold, Mike Richardson, Brandon Cone, Allen Richardson, Billy Lewis.

Honorary pallbearers were Ward's nieces and nephews
