Willie H. Massengale, age 77, of Everton, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2017, at his home. He was born February 20, 1939, in Newton County, Arkansas, the son of Frank and Pebble (Williams) Massengale. He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Josh Yancey; and a brother, Gene Massengale.

Willie worked for over 25 years with AP&L as a senior lineman. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Willie is survived by his wife, Lois Jean Massengale, of the home; a daughter, Jeanie Kisner, of Everton, Arkansas; a son, Jim Massengale, of Everton, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Courtney Massengale Brandt and Randall Kisner; two great-grandchildren, Aaron and Sawyer Kisner; a sister, Joyce Massengale; and three brothers, Doyle Massengale of Harrison, and Boyd Massengale and Jack Massengale.



Visitation was Friday, February 10, 2016, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.

Graveside funeral service was Saturday, February 11, 2017, at Anderson Flat Cemetery near Pindall, Arkansas.

Pallbearers were Jim Massengale, Rick Stewart, Gabe Hensley, Steve Hensley, Bill Kisner and Steve Brewer.
