Donnie K. Kilgore, age 73, of Harrison, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2016, at Harrison Retirement Center in Harrison. Don was born February 26, 1943, at Mt. Sherman, Arkansas, the son of Warren and Faye (Raney) Kilgore. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 52 years who was the love of his life and high school sweetheart, Lillie Fern Kilgore; and two brothers, Jackie and James Kilgore. Don retired from Anchor Die Cast as a maintenance supervisor after 29 years of service.

Don is survived by two sisters and a brother-in-law, Loretta Whaley of Florida and Karen and Steve Johnson of Berryville, Arkansas; his sisters-in-law, Ina Kilgore and Wanda Kilgore; his nieces and nephews that he loved dearly and considered his "own" children; and many dear friends.

Visitation was Friday, April 1, 2016, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.

Funeral service was Saturday, April 2, 2016, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home, with Bradley Clark officiating. Interment was in Mt. Sherman Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Caleb Widner, Jonathan Widner, Stephen Widner, Moriah Widner, Lauren Bright and David Bright

Honorary pallbearers were all of Don's friends and staff at Harrison Retirement Center, Tiffany Limteris, and Melissa Gardner.

What an Uncle! He always had a smile for me. When I visited just two years ago I gave him and Uncle Kenny a big hug at Union Cemetery.
So much has changed without him and Aunt Lille. Kim, thank you for helping them so much I know the hurt and loss is so heavy now. Lean on family and your heavenly father.

Kim, So sorry for your loss I know how much you loved your uncle Donnie & How much he loved you. Donnie was loved by many of us and will be greatly missed.I loved that man as if he was my own family he was something special may he rest in peace now with the love of his life. Love you Donnie
