Marjorie E. Baldwin, age 88, of Harrison, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2016. She was born September 21, 1927, in Schenectady, New York, the daughter of Edmund T. and Margaret (Seares) Groat.
Marjorie grew up in Downers Grove, Illinois where she attended school and went on to become an LPN Nurse. Marjorie met and fell in love with Luverne J. Baldwin and together they set out on adventures, including riding to motorcycle rallies on a motorcycle with a side-car attached, driven by Marjorie, as her husband was blind, but still rode with Marjorie whenever possible. Marjorie was very independent in her life. Her other passions included her numerous dogs during her life, and working outside in her gardens.
Marjorie is survived by her sister, Mary Hilliard, of Hawaii; and a host of other family and friends.
Private services will held at a later date in Hawaii.

We would like to offer our condolence and express to you our deep sorry for your loss. When the enemy death strikes, it can leave us with emotions that are difficult to understand and process. My family and I have gained comfort from God's word when we suffered the loss of a dear love one. We have found that meditating on such Scriptures as Philippians 4:6, 7 helped our thoughts, plus gives us the Peace of God that is bigger than the pain that we may feel. We hope that you find peace and comfort as well.
