Helen Florella Journagan, age 78, of Harrison, passed away Saturday, April 18, 2015, at her home. She was born August 12, 1936, in Protem, Missouri, the daughter of Lewis and Lillie (Young) Terry. Along with her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her brothers, Ira Terry, Leonard Terry, infant brother Cleo Terry and great-grandson Zachary Carlson.

Helen was of the Pentecostal faith. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed time spent with her children, grandchildren and especially with her great-granddaughter. She enjoyed camping, fishing, hiking, gardening and traveling. Helen always showed a deep concern for others. She was known for her immaculate housekeeping.

Helen is survived by her loving husband, Alfred ''Dean'' Journagan, of the home; her son and daughter-in-law, Ken and Teresa Journagan of Mt. Sherman, Arkansas; her daughters and sons-in-law, DeVonna and James Criner and Brenda and Jerry Brock; her granddaughter, Amanda Journagan; her grandsons and their wives, Clayton and Brenna Journagan, Philip and Alie Criner, and Garett and Amanda Brock; her great-granddaughter, Ava Marie Journagan; her sister, Esther Rogers; and a host of other family and friends.



Visitation was Wednesday, April 22, 2015, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.

Funeral serivce was Thursday, April 23, 2015, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home, with Bro. Carroll Johnson and Bro. Arvin Adams.

Interment was in Maple Leaf Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Clayton Journagan, Philip Criner, Garett Brock, Gary Villines, Tom Morrison and Dave Fritz.

Honorary pallbearers were Amanda Journagan, Leda Hudson, Betty Martin, Linda Randall and Ramona Terry.

You will be missed but forever in our hearts.Aunt Helen. Someday we will all be together. My dear Uncle and Cousins my prayers will be with you to keep strong the next few days. We have had too many losses this year but the Lord will get us through. If you need anything let me know. I would love to be there for you all but I will be in thoughts and prayer. Love you Debbie

Aunt Helen will be greatly missed. I know that she is now enjoying seeing visiting with all her family and friend who have proceed who in the journey to Heaven. I will miss my visit when she would come out to Washingtion or when I have came back there. Love you Aunt Helen and will miss you.
