Betty O. Huber, age 77, of Harrison, passed away Friday, April 17, 2015, in Harrison. She was born January 12, 1938, at Doniphan, Missouri, the daughter of Daniel and Dolly Mae (Gordon) Allen. Along with her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her brothers, Walter Allen and Richard Allen; and her sisters, Georgie Hunter, Viola Carman, Thelma Schneider and Beatrice Allen.
Betty was of the Baptist faith. She married Bill Huber on March 31, 1956, in Hernando, Mississippi. She worked at several public schools in Arkansas and Missouri. She retired from Emerson Electric in 1994. Betty enjoyed planting and taking care of her flowers and her home. She took every opportunity to share her faith with anyone who came into contact with her.
Betty is survived by her husband, Bill Huber; of the home; her son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Tamra (Wagner) Huber, of Harrison; her daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Bob Caughron, of Harrison; her sisters, Arlyn Williams, Dessie Barker, Elsie Gage and Mary Fae Grogan; and her brother, Jessie Allen. She is also survived by six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation was Tuesday, April 21, 2015, at Eagle Heights Baptist Church with the funeral service immediately following. Bro. Glenn Crenshaw officiated the funeral service.
Interment was in Gaither Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Ryan Caughron, Duane Stephens, Danny Huber, Christian Stephens, Kaden Frickle and Zack Pitney.
Honorary pallbearers were Eagle Heights Adult 3 Men's Sunday School Class, Eagle Heights Couples 5 Mixed Sunday School Class; Men's Senior League at the Harrison County Club and Dr. Tom Langston and his staff.

So sorry for your loss. She was a great lady. Hadn't seen her for years but knowing Betty, she never changed, The same hard working, special woman that will be missed.

What a true friend you have always been to me. What fun we have had over the past 54 years. What great talks we have shared never to repeat to anyone and I still won't. What wonderful families we shared. In other words girl I will really miss you and know you are having a ball now that you are finally with Jesus.
