April 19, 1934 - April 15, 2015

Loyce Fay Lloyd, age 80, of Harrison, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2015, at Hospice House in Harrison. She was born August 19, 1934, in Anson, Texas, the daughter of Roy and Fay (Beasley) Dixon. Along with her parents, Loyce was preceded in death by her daughter, Jeannie Decker; her son, Ricky Lloyd; and her sister, Eva James.

Loyce was of the Baptist faith. She married Don Lloyd October 17, 1981. She retired from Southwestern Bell after 23 years where she was a switchboard operator. Loyce enjoyed needlepoint, going to Karaoke, and being at home taking care of her family. She was a fantastic cook. She made THE BEST chicken and dumplings and always had something tasty for the grandkids when they came over. She also liked to go to Cottonwood Bowling Alley to watch bowling.

Loyce is survived by her husband, Don Lloyd, of the home; her sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Tracy Griffith, Stephen and Janice Lloyd, and Jackie and Yasemian Lloyd; her daughters and sons-in-law, Lynn ''Gay'' and Bill Hughes, Lisa and Stephen Henderson, and David Decker; her brother and sister-in-law, Roy and Kay Dixon; her sisters and brothers-in-law, Peggy and Jimmy Allred and Joyce and Monroe Leveritt; thirteen grandchildren; twenty eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.


Visitation was Sunday, April 19, 2015, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.

Graveside service was Monday, April 20, 2015, at Maple Leaf Cemetery, with Bro. Bob Meredith officiating.

Pallbearers were Tee Griffith, Drew Griffith, Daniel Decker, Jeff Knight, Matt Tomlinson and Sebastian Powers.

Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Tom Leslie and his staff and all of Loyce's Karaoke friends.

Mr. Don,

I am sorry to hear that your dear wife has gone on. We all continue to love you both very much. She was the best "quality control man" a karaoke host ever had.

Miss Loyce was a wonderful friend and we are all better for knowing her. Please remember that we love you and we are hoping and praying for comfort for you and your family.
