Michael D. Norton, age 56 of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away Sunday, November 9, 2014, at his home. He was born January 25, 1958, at Kansas City,
Missouri, the son of Winnie Bell (Cowles) and William Howard Norton, Jr. Mike was preceded in death by his father; his maternal grandparents, Arbery and
Vernie Cowles; and his paternal grandparents, Howard and Ola Middleton Norton.
Michael graduated from Raytown South High School in 1976. He worked for a time as a supervisor for ADT Security System. He liked fishing, camping,
carpentry, cars and traveling.
Michael is survived by his mother, Winnie Norton; his three children, Michelle Norton, Brian Norton and Shawna Norton; his sister and brother-in-law, Charlotte and Mike Simpson; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other family.

Graveside funeral service was Wednesday, November 12, 2014, at Smith Cemetery, Vendor, Arkansas, with Rev. Rex Middleton officiating.
Family and friends served as pallbearers.

We are so sorry to have read of your loss. Please accept our sincere condolences. We would like to share something that we have personally found to be of great comfort. It is found in the Bible at John 5:28,29 and Revelation 21:4. These verses tell us that soon God is going to bring about a resurrection of our loved ones as well as do away with all causes we have for suffering, including sickness and death.
