Karl L. Bueg, age 58, died on March 19, 2013, at the Baxter Regional Medical Center. He was born on May 17, 1954, in Rochester, N.Y., the son of Lawrence Albert and Laura Mae (Everdyke) Bueg.
Services were Saturday, March 23, 2013, at the Roller-Christeson Funeral Home with visitation prior to service. Burial was in Davidson Cemetery near Harmon following the services. Family and friends served as pallbearers.
Karl was preceded in death by his father and a sister Joanne Bolster. He is survived by his wife Jane (Zientek) Bueg of Harrison; two sons, Casey Bueg of Harrison and Aaron and his wife Adria Bueg of Harrison; one granddaughter Amelie Bueg of Harrison; his mother, Laura Mae Bueg of Nixa, MO.; two sisters, Marsha Huff of Springfield, MO and Cindy Eargle of Cincinnati, OH; one brother Ralph Bueg of Hasty, AR and a host of other family and friends.
Karl moved to Arkansas in 1976 and worked as a carpenter till 1999. He made a switch in career to the computer technology field and continued as a self employed entrepreneur. He loved to work more than he loved the money he earned. He got great joy out of teaching people about technology, especially the older people. He enjoyed hunting and the outdoors. He spent a lot of time pitching horseshoes and competing in tournaments. Karl was comfortable being home where he had spent many years building and crafting the home and furnishings from the lumber he milled on his property. He had spent time when his children were younger devoting time to soccer, by coaching, serving as a referee and teaching the game of soccer. He loved his children and grandchildren and was a devoted husband to Jane.
