Jerry W. Oliver, 69, of Helena, Arkansas passed away Friday, May 25, 2018 at his home. Mr. Oliver was born October 5, 1948 in Stuttgart, Arkansas to the late John Leo Oliver and Lillian McAdoo. He worked for Quincy Soybean as a purchasing agent for several years, owned Oliver's Restaurant for eight years, and also worked as a chemist at Riceland Foods in Stuttgart and Helena.
Mr. Oliver is survived by a daughter, Michelle Shelton (Bradford) of Pocahontas, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Wes Oliver, Teena Elizabeth Oliver, Logan Shelton, Seth Shelton and Morgan Shelton; two great-grandchildren, Asher Oliver and Addilynn Shelton; two brothers, Tommy Oliver (Barbara) of Hot Springs, Arkansas and Jimmy Burris (Barbara) also of Hot Springs. He also leaves several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Michael Oliver.
