Arthur "Red" Stokes. 86, of Helena, Arkansas passed away Friday, March 16, 2018 in Memphis, Tennessee. Mr. Stokes was born to Mr. Frank Arthur Stokes, Sr. and Floy Era Bradshaw Stokes on July 27, 1931 in Greenwood Mississippi.
Mr. Stokes is survived by son, Frank Stokes (Karen) of Rogers, Arkansas; daughter Barbara Gibbs (Billy) of Heber Springs, Arkansas; Seven grandchildren, Tyler, Taylor, Meagan, Chelsea, Amy, Curtis and Cammie; sister Mary Ella Champagne of Picayune, Mississippi; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. Mr. Stokes was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years Mildred Baily Stokes, his parents, son, Jimmy Lamar Stokes, brother, Bill Stokes, three sisters, Era, Ruth and Ruby.
Graveside services will be Monday, March 19, 2018 at 2:00 P. M. at Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation from 12 noon till 1:30 P. M. at Roller-Citizens Chapel.

Dear Family and Friends of Red Stokes, I am so sorry that the world has lost such a precious soul, his presence will always live in my family's heart's .... my kids called him GRANDPA Red, and we will always cherish those memories and his LOVE that he shared with us... (until we our selves go to be with our Lord in heaven). We are praying for the Family and Friends of Of our beloved friend. May God draw each of you closer to HIM through this hard time.
