Marie Felkins, 77, of Lexa, Arkansas passed away Sunday, January 28, 2018 in Memphis, Tennessee. Ms. Felkins was born July 6, 1940 in Helena to the late Myles and Willie Mae Allen. She worked as a nursing assistant for 14 years in Russellville and in home care for several residents in the Russellville area.
Ms. Felkins is survived by two sons, John Smith, Jr. of London, Arkansas and Tim Felkins of Hagarville; two daughters, Diane Joyner of Lindsay, California and Debbie Bentley (Donnie) of Lexa; nine grandchildren, Jonathan Laymon, Travis Laymon, Justin Laymon, Crystal Sims, Shaun Smith, Brandi Smith, Zach Smith, Shiloh Smith and Nikki Harless; 21 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; all of her siblings; great-grandson, Lane Laymon; and great-granddaughter, Alexis Harless.
A graveside service for Marie Felkins will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena. Brother Tommy Jacobs will officiate.
Service will be directed by Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, West Helena, (870) 572-2571.

Ms Felkins was a great comfort to me. She was a strong person who expired me and all she had been through had time to keep me in her prayers. I will definitely miss her my love and prayers to her family. Betty Laxson
