Jerry Wayne Walker, age 71, of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed away Monday, July 24, 2017 in North Little Rock. Mr. Walker was born October 29, 1945 in Helena to the late Clarence and Nellie Walker.
He is survived by his wife, Wegie; two daughters, Sherry Walker (Jason Padgett) of Georgetown and Michele Steinbeck (Richard) of Rogers; stepdaughter, Jenifer Mitchell of Little Rock; four grandchildren, Kirk, Brooke, Blake and Gregory; and a host of cousins and friends; and his cat, Callie Girl.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Mildred Walker.
A graveside service for Jerry Walker will be held at 12:00 p.m., Friday, July 28, 2017 at LaGrange Cemetery in LaGrange. Visitation will be Friday morning from 10:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. Brother Adam Rowland will officiate.
Honorary pallbearers are C.W. Gatlin, Chuck Ross, Sonny McGuire, Mike McGuire, Kenneth Beavers, Bobby Atkins and Carol Reed.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 713 S Mendenhall Rd, Memphis, TN 38117.
Services will be directed by Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, West Helena, (870) 572-2571.
My sincerest condolences to all of the Walker family. Jerry will be missed, grew up with him. He is at peace now, no more pain. Will see him later. God Bless His Family.
