William Alford ''Wacky'' Carson, Jr., age 59, of West Helena, Arkansas passed away Sunday, August 14, 2016 at his home. Mr. Carson was born August 19, 1956 at Helena to the late William and Ruby Carson, Sr. He retired from Entergy after working for the company for 15 years. William loved Arkansas Razorback football.

He is survived by two sons, William ''Lil Bill'' Alfred Carson, III (Charlotte) of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Caleb Carson of Batesville; one daughter, Mandie Hall (Clayton) of Judsonia; eight grandchildren, Carson Hall, Morgan Hall, Madison Hall, Mallory Hall, Cohen Hall, Justice Tyler Carson, Kayla Carson and Peighton Carson; three sisters, Evelyn Jacks (Nicky) of Helena, Bobbie Salter of Lexa and Frances Mathis (Randolph) of Sulphur Rock; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his ex-wife, Michelle Carson.

A service for William Carson will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 19, 2016 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena. Brother Clayton Hall will officiate.

Pallbearers are Alan Barnes, Sr., Caleb Carson, ''Lil Bill'' Carson, J.T. Carson, Carson Hall and Derward Mauldin.

Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers to Alcoholics Anonymous, care of General Service Board, Grand Central Station, P.O. Box 459, New York, NY 10163.

Services will be directed by Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, West Helena, (870) 572-2571.

Wacky and I got in trouble alot and he was a elvis Presley fan.I have not seen him since we was teenagers,I do remember us riding horses and the weekend everybody got to gather and ride around in west helena.Wacky your in a safe place now and rest in peace.
