Bessie Lou Gibson, age 77, of Holly Grove, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at her home. Mrs. Gibson was born September 13, 1938 at Osceola, Arkansas to the late Jack and Pauline Clark. She was a homemaker and longtime member of County Line Baptist Church in Marvell. Mrs. Gibson loved flowers and gardening and was very good at it.
She is survived by two daughters, Rosemary O'Neal (James) of Poplar Grove and Sheila Williams of Springfield, Missouri; five grandchildren, Julie Drew (Joe), Valerie Hunt (Brady), Rebecca Williams, Daniel Williams (Sara) and Shelby Snyder (Kristen); sixteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James S. Gibson, Sr.; son, James S. Gibson, Jr.; and granddaughter, Beth Williams.
A service for Bessie Gibson will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 2, 2016 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday evening from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at LaGrange Cemetery in LaGrange, Arkansas. Reverend Joe Drew will officiate.
Pallbearers are James O'Neal, Shelby Snyder, Caleb Harman, Leslie Kelly, Butch Sanford and Larry Johnson.
Services will be directed by Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, West Helena, (870) 572-2571.
I am praying that you girls and families will find comfort in knowing Ms Bessie( my second momma) is in a much better place. I loved her dearly and she will be greatly missed!Love and prayers !

With the loss of Bessie , I come to realize that I am the last survivor of this generation. She was my first cousin. Her being the daughter of Aunt Pauline and me the son of Doyne Sharp.
