So sorry to hear of my long time ago friend's death. We grew up on Richmond Hill in West Helena about three houses from each other. We explored Crowley's ridge and swam at the country club across the street from Lacy. I have thought of him many times through the years. My mother remarried and we moved from Helena. I had lost touch with him. It sounds like he had a great life. Bill Miles

Sorry to hear of Lacey's passing. He was a special person with a special sense of humor and had a special place in everyone's heart. He will be missed greatly. My prayers and thoughts are with the family as well as many of his friends that will miss him.
Lacey was funny, generous, and kind. He had such a large presence; the world is emptier without him. My mom loved seeing him and Thunder (barking the whole way) riding down Cherry. My sympathy and love to Maretta and Lacey's family.
Lacey and my late sister, Betty, were classmates in the Class of '60 at Central High School. Lacey was also a dear friend of my brother-in-law, George James. Sweet and fun memories fill me head as I think of that bunch. We thank the Lord for Lacey. Heaven will be sweeter with him there.
