Elizabeth Ann (Carter) Everhart, 82, of Mellwood, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2016. She was born August 12, 1933 in Jonesboro to George and Cassie Carter.
She loved to read, crochet, the color purple, her church family and domino buddies.
She is survived by her husband, Gerald Everhart; 4 children, Jan (Joe) Smith, Donny (Debbie) Gatewood, Ginny (Gerry) Franklin and Mark (Mara) Gatewood; sister, Evelyn Harbin; sister-in-law, Betty Carter; 4 step-children; Teri Talbot, Sheila Meyer, Lisa Whitley, and Todd (Shannon) Everhart; 21 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren.
She is proceeded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, Buddy Carter and infant brother; 2 sisters, Inez Johnson and Babett Cooper.
Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 A. M. before services. Services will be 11:00 A. M. Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at the Elaine Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers please make memorials to Elaine Baptist Church. Roller- Citizens has charge of arrangements 508 Plaza West Helena, AR (870)572-2571.

I just wanted you to know that I am thinking of you all. I have such fond memories of your Mom while we were growing up on Spruce St.
So sad. Will miss this good friend. Enjoyed talking about books, cooking & everyday life. She was such a special part of my life. May God give you all peace & comfort at this sad time.
