Charles A. Holloway, age 83, of Marvell, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at Conway, Arkansas. Mr. Holloway was born June 5, 1932 at Parkin, Arkansas to the late Alfred F. Holloway and the late Willdora Ligon Holloway. He was a member of County Line Baptist Church and worked in maintenance at Hoffinger Industry until his retirement. Mr. Holloway also served our country in the United States Army.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Lois Kornegay Holloway; three sons, Wendell F. Holloway (Tammy) of Conway, Perry Ward Holloway of Marvell and Michael Steven Crisp (Barbara) of Hot Springs, Arkansas; one daughter, Marcia Gay Griffin (Chuck) of Stonewall, Louisiana; grandchildren, Chastidy Laws, Jason T. Brown, Chad A. Holloway, Laurie Williams, Stephanie Brice and Kenny House; four great-grandchildren and nine step-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Dorothy Cavette, Lois Fielder and Billie Allen, all of Marvell; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter, B.J. Brice.
A service for Charles Holloway will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 21, 2015 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. until service time. Burial will be at Eventide Cemetery in Marvell. Dr. J.E. Hughes will officiate.
Pallbearers are Chuck Griffin, Casey Laws, Jason Brown, Jonathan Short, Nicholas Shackleford and Justin Snyder. Honorary pallbearers are Donald Cavette, Lavon ''Dab'' Davenport, Tommy Shackleford, Doug Rohrscheib, Darrell Cavette, Mark Fielder and Chris Donahue.
Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.
Services will be directed by Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, West Helena, (870) 572-2571.

Ms. Lois and entire family, I am so sorry to hear about Charles. I know he has been sick for quite some time so I know you all rejoice know he is at rest with the Lord now. I will be praying for you in the days to come because knowing first hand what it's like to lose your husband I know you will need the support of your family and friends. Take care and know that I and Bro Rice have always loved you and will continue to remember you.

I have so many memories of Mr Charles, he will be greatly missed.I was truly Blessed , to get to know such a kind and helpful person as him.
