I was so sorry to hear about Elner. She was a good friend to me and I always enjoyed visiting with her while dressing her hair. She was a wonderful day care giver for the kids after school and anytime you needed her. Her smile was always a welcome sight. She had a caring spirit and many people will miss her.

Evelyn.....
I have just been at a loss of words to say but my prayers have been with you, asking Gods guidance through such a tough time. As I see this photo of your Mom I have so many memories. We spent a lot of hours at the church when we were younger in "lock ins" and youth rallies. Our lives were so much easier then! But I think your Mom had the same smile and advice all the way through even until the last time I spoke to her. She was always full of compliments and I never heard her complain! Even the pastor used her as an example from the pulpit on several occasions in the past few years. If that is not a special honor I dont know what one could be. As you have grown up I noticed more and more how you act just like she did. So very sorry for your loss but she is smiling with Jesus today as we put the earthly life to rest.

Love.
Trish

My dear family, I am so sorry for our loss of Aunt Elner. She was such a wonderful Christian wife, mother, sister, and a friend to everyone she met. God gave her a special love for children, not just for her own two, but for a host of us that she helped raise. I will forever remember her as a nurturing, loving, caring, wonderful angel with a beautiful smile. I certainly appreciate all the love and care she gave to me. I loved her very much.
