My thoughts and prayers have been with you all. Even though we know he is in a much better place does not make times like this easier. What a rejoicing time for Mrs. Christine and Rosie to welcome him home. I will always remember how much Jake thought of Pop and enjoyed spending time with him and Tyler. I smile every time I think of Pop calling Jake his "sweetie." I will continue to pray for comfort and peace for the days ahead for you all.
With Much Love,
Cindy Hindsley

We are deeply Saddened to hear of Bud's passing. We had a great trip to Alaska with Christina & Bud. And enjoyed him again when he brought Diane to visited us in Goldthwaite,Texas. Our prayers & thoughts are with you all.
Vonda, Clark, Roxie and Gwen - I am deeply saddened to learn of Bud's passing. My family has so many great memories of many, many years of farming next to Bud in Mississippi and visiting with Bud, Christine and you all in Wabash. We were always treated like part of the family and I have so many good memories of jug fishing on the river, hunting at Po Boy Hunting Club and hunting on our farmland. Several times Christine made fun of us Mississippi folks wanting to know why there was an "r" in wash (warsh) but I could always laugh and make fun of her and Bud calling my husband Mike (long I sound) and rIght and lIght, etc. it was a joke we always tormented each other with. My son, Michael, almost made Bud break his neck once when he put a rubber snake in Bud's tool box in the back of his truck - I think he got whiplash trying to get away from it. We played pranks on each other all the time. I truly miss those wonderful years spent with Bud and Christine and I will miss both of them dearly. Prayers for all of you now for comfort and peach. Love you guys!
I am saddened by the passing of Mr. Bud- Thoughts and Prayers to you all during this time. Hold on to your memories of your Dad & Mom- Love to you all Vonda, Roxie, Clark, Gwen and the whole Short Family
We are so sorry for the loss of Bud. May the LORD bless all of you and keep you in his care during this sad and difficult time.
Vonda, Roxie, Clark and Gwen- our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Mr. Bud was always an encouragement to me growing up, he was a man that we as kids looked up to and valued his opinion. Even when we stopped to visit your parents a few years ago he was still the same Mr. Bud, still calling us all his kids. Remember your daddy and keep those memories in your heart always. Love to all of you.
