Kenneth T. Davis, 79, of West Helena, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2014 in Helena, Arkansas. Mr. Davis was born October 6, 1935 at Heber Springs, Arkansas to the late George and Alice Bates Davis. He was a retired employee of Entergy Electric Company, a member of the Fourth Street Baptist Church, and an avid fisherman, hunter, and craftsman. He was a devoted husband and beloved father who loved nothing more than spending time with his family.
Mr. Davis is survived by his wife of 54 years who was the love of his life, Ernestine Davis; two sons, Gary Davis and wife, Michele of Raleigh, North Carolina and Kenneth T. ''Tommy'' Davis, Jr. of Enid, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Meagan Davis, Chelsea Hunter, Drew Davis, Seth Davis, Antony Devita; and a sister, Flora Stark.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jeff Davis; sister-in-law, Dorothy Davis; brother-in-law, Aron Stark; and grandson, Zachary Davis.
Funeral services for Kenneth T. Davis will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena. Reverend Rodger Hooker will officiate. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday, October 17, 2014 at Roller-Citizens.
Pallbearers are Terry Stark, Michael Buie, Jr., Taylor Buie, Robert Arnold, Chad Alsup, Anthony Arnold, Brian Arnold, Jason Arnold, Kenny Davis and Jimmy Woolbright.
Memorials may be made to Fourth Street Baptist Church, 1226 North Fourth Street, West Helena, AR. 72390.
Services will be directed by Roller-Citizens Funeral Home West Helena (870) 572-2571.
I heard about Kenneth's passing, but I couldn't come to the funeral. He was a good friend and supporter when we lived in West Helena, as was your family. Our prayers are with you.

I was so saddened to hear of the passing of Mr. Kenneth. I always remember him being such a nice Christian man and I know he loved his family and especially his loving wife. Sorry to hear of Kenny's passing, I work with him and learned a lot of my work skills from him which has help me through my working career. He was a person to look up to. My thoughts and prayers are with the family, God bless and keep y'all .

Kenny was one fine man. I worked with him for a while at Ritchie SES and it was a pleasure to be around him. Really laid back and hard working man. Above all he was a gentleman and caring person.
