Earlene Merritt, 80, of West Plains, Missouri formally of Wabash, Arkansas passed away Friday, April 18, 2014. She was born November 5, 1933 in Clarendon, Arkansas to William Earl Hartnett and Ethelene Davenport.
She is survived by two sons, Roger Hartnett Merritt and John Robert Merritt; four daughters, Hedy Louise Vondran, Tena Marie Pickett, Lesa Ann LaMar and Reta Joy Roberts; fifteen grandchildren, Rob Vondran, Jason Pickett, Rick Pickett, Jr., Meredith Craig, Alan Merritt, Taylor Merritt, Dillion Merritt, Wesley Ginn, Dalton Ginn, Leigh Compton, Lauren Comer, Robert Bruce LaMar, Brandy Green,, Donald Wayne Roberts, Jr., Melinda Earlene Roberts; and thirteen great grandchildren; one sister, Louise Burton.
Graveside services for Earlene will be Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at Maple Hill Cemetery in Helena, Arkansas with Chuck LaMar officiating.
Hedy, Tina, and all the Merritt children and family. With your mothers passing, brings a somewhat close to the Old Town Lake Family's of the Merritt's. the Deckelman's, the Toney's, the Copeland's and the Jacob's Families. She will be missed by all of us and others who lived at much easier time in all our young lives around Old Town Lake and the Merritt's Grocery Store and bait shop

I remember lots of childhood memories With Ms. Earlene and family. She was a good lady that I loved very much. I'm so sorry for your loss and I pray God will comfort you thru this time.
