Geraldine Anna Buckner, 90, of West Helena, Arkansas passed away Monday, October 15, 2012 at her home. Mrs. Buckner was born December 20, 1921 at Moro, Arkansas to the late Charlie and Willie D. Spencer. Geraldine was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved camping and watching cooking shows.
She is survived by a son, Jerry Buckner (Patsy) of West Helena; two daughters, Pat Turner of Houston, Texas and Sandra Hadder of West Helena; seven grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and eighteen great-great-grandchild; and three sisters, Willie Sue Foster of California, Janice Havens of Greenbrier, Arkansas and Phyllis Dunn of Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Smiley M. Buckner; two sisters and three brothers.
A graveside service for Geraldine Buckner will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena. Reverend Rodger Hooker will officiate.
Service will be directed by Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, West Helena, (870) 572-2571.
