Pauline G. McDaniel Smith, 76, of Helena, Arkansas died Thursday, April 5, 2012. She was born March 19, 1936 in Ampthill, Woburn, England to Ronald and Marjorie Wilkins.

Ms. Pauline became a naturalized citizen of the U.S.A. in May of 1958. She was a dance teacher for over 45 years; including 22 years at Phillips College/University of Arkansas. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in November of 2009.

She is survived by her husband Billy of Helena; a daughter, Cheryl Anderson (Lawson) of Sherwood, Arkansas and a granddaughter, M. Alexis Anderson of New York City, New York.
