Gladys Z. Rimmer, 85, of Paragould, Arkansas passed away Monday, March 28, 2011. Gladys was born March 3, 1926 to the late Albert E. Lench and Ruby Mae Brindle Lench in Gladbrook, Iowa.

Gladys married her husband, Troy Rimmer, Sr. and they made a life for their family. She was saved and was of the Baptist faith. She was patriotic and liked doing whatever Troy wanted to do. They would go to Florida for four months a year for eight years straight. She really enjoyed going to Mildred's to eat.

Gladys is survived by her husband, Troy Rimmer, Sr.; three sons, Archie Rimmer (Debbie) of Grand Island, Nebraska , Troy Rimmer, Jr. (Kathy) of Rock Falls, Illinois, and Jerry Rimmer (Pat) of Rock Falls, Illinois; two daughters, Brenda Rebecca Blakey (Robert) of Concord, North Carolina and Martha Plasky (John) of Iraquis, Illinois; eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren; two sisters, Ruth Mix of Rock Falls, Illinois and Joanne Lench of Rock Falls, Illinois and two brothers, Merle Lench (Jerri) of Jackson, Missouri and Lowell Lench (Deloris) of Tampico, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Doris Southern; and brothers, Donald Lench and Leonard Lench.

Pallbearers will be Stanley Powell, Rick Morrow, Lynn McClain, John Rimmer, Danny Rimmer and Roy Lee McClain.

Services for Gladys will be 11 a.m., Thursday, March 31, 2011 at Roller-Citizens. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10-11 a.m. Reverend Rodger Hooker will officiate. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena.
