Our hearts are with Terry's family. Cathy learned a lot about barrel racing from him. He will be missed by the many friends that he had.
I, like so many others, were honored to have known Terry through the horse industry and barrel racing world. It was not up until the last year or so that I really got to know Terry and his hauling buddies. I feel so honored to have known him and will have a special memory of an awesome conversation we shared at a barrel race in Marshall this last time he was having tests ran. Terry shared with me at that time that he was fine with any outcome in his life and there were far more worse things than death. He told me he had lived a wonderful life and he was at peace! I never dreamed that conversation would mean so much to me.
Terry was very kind to me, always made me laugh and I never knew what to expect him to say with that quick sense of humor. Yes, he was honest that's for sure! If you didn't want his opion, you had better not ask! I have always admired the way he handled his horses and how they worked!
We have lost a great friend, person and a great trainer but Heaven has gained a very precious gift!! I know for sure he is up there riding with the other great trainers and has more than his share of horses to train and win on!
Many prayers and heartfelt hugs to the Foran family for the loss of a wonderful person!
I am so sadden to hear That Terry had passed away. My heart goes out to Aunt Bit and all of the rest of the family. I will always remember all of the great times we had growing up. He was a great cousin and friend.
This is a heartfelt wish for Terry's family to remember him as one of the greatest people I know and a wonderful friend who encouraged and helped EVERONE! I will truly miss him!

Well I guess I pulled threw another day here at your place working. Its so lonely now, I don't have you here to fight, or jst joke around or even getting your horses saddle for u to ride. I miss you so much, there haven't being a day that I can't stop think about you. Its so hard to put a smile on my face now. But I know we being threw alot and I know you will be looking down on me. I miss you Terry....
I'm not sure they have come up with a word to adequately describe Terry. He was certainly one in a million. He was as good a horseman as they come. I never heard Terry boast or complement himself in any way. He could communicate with a horse in a very special way and he certainly had an eye for a good horse. He has a host of friends who love him very much and I feel honored to say that I am one of them.
We are certainly going to miss Terry.
Terry will be dearly missed, he was always so kind with words of wisdom. He helped me so much years ago, and have been dear friends ever since. It won't be the same without him but will no longer be suffering with pain anymore. Love ya Terry.
Wish I could have been there to say goodbye to Terry one more time. I am in New Orleans taking care of my Mother who has Altheimers.Terry was a good friend to me and always encouraged me when I was down and was glad when I did good. He rode horses for me and was very special. He kidded me alot. I loved him and will miss him. Always,Peanut
What a great loss to both the barrel horse world, but for any and all who had the pleasure of knowing Terry! His smile will always be remembered, and the genuine caring behind that smile was so very evident. I thank God that he is at peace, and feeling "Great" and probably winning a barrel race right now!
I'll miss you so much Terry. You always made me laugh with your great stories. Even when you would have maybe 10 people following around behind you like little duckies, you'd take the time to come by my trailer and tell me something you and Marilyn had done or gotten into.
I know today you have great horses to ride and you've got the angels rolling with laughter.
Dear Foran Family.
So sorry to hear of your loss. Terry has been a wonderful friend through the years, as well as an outstanding horseman, and I greatly admired his skill. My thoughts are with you.

You were one in a million Terry!! You will be missed both in and out of the arena.. Our prayers are with your family. God Bless!!
Dear Foran Family, please know that our hearts are with you at this very sad time in your lives. Terry was the best barrel horse trainer that have ever known in all my 66 years! He took my daughter (Sonja Johnston White) and not only trained her, but also her three winning horses! We were so glad that he was able to see them run successfully at the big Texarkana show! And he was so happy and helpful, as always!!! We will miss him so much - there will never be another like Terry!
Terry was was like a brother to and a best friend. He was a great inspiration to me. He will forever be in my heart.
Terry, along with Donald, was instrumental in teaching me to ride horses and compete in horse shows many years ago. He was a special friend and a unique person.. I am so saddened that we have lost him, but I know he's saddling up and riding on ahead. God bless.
My thoughts and prayers go to the Foran family at this time. Eventhough, I only knew Terry in Junior High, I still saw the kindness of his heart , at that very young age. He will truely be missed!!
I am thankful that Terry did not have to suffer very long with this last diagnosis and most thankful that he recovered the first time and was able to ride again; that had to have been a blessing to him. He was a blessing to all of us and he will be greatly missed.
Terry was a ONE OF A KIND, most honest Barrel horse trainer in the business, great friend for 37 yrs. Loved by all and will be missed dearly. WE LOVE YOU TERRY

I LOVE YOU AND WILL FOREVER MISS YOU SO MUCH.
My Prayers are with all of Terry's family and many friends!!
Terry has been a huge part of my life since I was about 10. Mom asked him if he would be willing to give me riding lessons, at which that time he replied to her "if you would get her off that Junk and buy her a real horse she wouldn't need riding lessons." From that moment on Terry took me under his wing. There is no doubt without his countless hours of riding with me, I would not have been so successful during my high school rodeo days. Dan was a nice horse, but Terry no doubt made him Great!! He taught me so much about barrel racing, horsemanship, sportsmanship, and Life in general. If he would have ever sent me a bill for the hours he spent with me or my horses, I don't think winning the lotto could have bailed me out.
I can comfort in knowing he is no longer suffering. I am sure by now, he has several horses saddled ready to ride. His one of a kind smile, laugh, advice, and HONESTY will be missed Greatly!!
I love you Terry!!
To My Aunt and Cousins,
I want you to know how deeply saddened I am to hear of Terry's passing. I received a phone call from my niece telling me that she read the obituary. I went online and got more information on it myself.
I wish I could be with you guys at this time, but you should know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. I've thought about Terry all day and remember his beautiful smile that he always had.
I will miss my cousin dearly. The only consolation in this is knowing that he's not suffering anymore and is in a better place. Also knowing that he is with his grandparents, dad, sister, and other relatives brings a little piece of mind.
I love you guys dearly and hope you can pick up the pieces and go on with your lives.
Love,
Nita
