Cheree Black, 62, a resident of Fort Smith passed away Friday, November 10, 2017, in Fort Smith.
She was born September 2, 1955, in Berkley, California to the late Richard Wayne Bess and Rosie May (Bales) Brannam. In addition to her parents, Cheree was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Black; two brothers, Charles W. Bess and Bobby G. Bess and a sister, Sandra S. Clayton.
Survivors include three sons, Jasper, Roy and Claude Franklin, all of Booneville; seven grandchildren including, Jasper Franklin, III, Lyddia Franklin, Anthony Franklin and Ashlynn Franklin and a sister, Peggy Emmert of Booneville.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
