Frankie J. Crossland, 84, a resident of Paris passed away Sunday, October 8, 2017, at his residence.
He was born August 12, 1933, in Muskogee, Oklahoma to the late John and Opal (Mowlery) Crossland. Frankie spent his working years driving tractors on farms and working at the charcoal plant in Paris.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Mary L. (Spears) Crossland; a son, Thomas Crossland and three brothers.
Survivors include a son, Leroy Crossland and wife, Nikole of Tempe, Arizona; a daughter, Linda K. Lane and husband, Richard of Paris; eight grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren and four sisters.
Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 10, 2017, at the Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at the Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris. Burial will follow at Pollard Cemetery near Dover under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Elliot, Cody Elliot, Ryan Trusty, Ritchie Trusty, Jessie Lane and Jamie Plemmons. Gaige Lane will serve as honorary pallbearer.
