Jorge Luis Garza, 64, of Clarksville, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2017 in Clarksville. He was born on September 1, 1952 in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico to his parents, José Garza and Petra Martinez de Garza.
He worked with programs for many years in Miami, Florida, helping place migrants in new jobs. After relocating to Arkansas he worked in Environmental Services at Johnson Regional Medical Center in Clarksville. In his spare time, Jorge loved spending time with Colleen and enjoyed trips to the casino. For the past ten years he enjoyed traveling with Colleen both in the United States and to Greece, even taking two cruises together. He loved his kids, Jorge and Juana and always loved sharing in their lives. He is preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Aurelia Garza, Noelia Garza and Alvaro Garza.
Survivors include his lifemate, Colleen Annette Geels of Clarksville; a daughter, Juana Iris Rivera of Pembroke Pines, Florida; a son and son-in-law, Jorge Luis Garza and Jai Erwin of Clarksville and two brothers, Noé Garza and wife, Colleen of Clarksville and José Homero Garza of Monterrey, N.L., Mexico.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2017 from 2:00-5:00 P.M. at the Raymond Munger Memorial Chapel on the University of the Ozarks Campus in Clarksville, Arkansas. . Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
