Larry G. Jackson, 80, of Scranton, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2017 in Paris. He was born on March 12, 1937, in Montgomery, Alabama to his parents, Glenn George and Lura Irene (Meyer) Jackson.

He spent his working life as a dairy and poultry farmer though he was an entrepreneur, owning Stone Mountain Manufacturing. Larry served many years on the Scranton Public School Board and was an active member in the community. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Scranton. He is preceded in death by his parents, Glenn George and Lura Irene (Meyer) Jackson and his wife, Ruby Nell Jackson.

He is survived by his son, Ronald Jackson and wife, Julie of Hartman; his daughters, Candy Forst and husband, Ronnie of Scranton, Karen Schluterman and husband, Bill of Subiaco and Ruby Koch and husband, Joe of Scranton; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m., on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at the Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at the Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris with burial in McKendree Cemetery in Subiaco under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.

Pallbearers will be his grandchildren, Rhonda Johnson, Rachel Strobel, Craig Forst, Drew Koch, Rebecca Fox, Nathan Schluterman, Tyler Koch, Haley Koch and Caitlin Forst.

Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Bob Spicer, Eldon McCaulley, Rick Snow, Billy Sam Hughes and the staff of Paris Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Memorials may be made to the McKendree Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 484, Scranton, AR 72863.
