Rufus Austin Kimberling, 90, a resident of Chandler, Arizona, formerly of Paris passed away Saturday, August 20, 2016, in Chandler, Arizona.
He was born on December 18, 1925, at Paris to the late Samuel M. and Lorena (Smith) Kimberling. Mr. Kimberling worked as a chef in California and was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles 208 in Fort Smith. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Faye (McCutcheon) Kimberling, a son, Samuel Austin Kimberling and brothers and sisters.
Survivors include two daughters, Neal Langenhuizen of Chandler, Arizona and Linda Newton of San Carlos, California; a brother, Charles L. Kimberling of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; five granddaughters, Shirley Seufert, Brandi Smith, Heidi Newton, Heather Newton-Go and Sara Bunoan; ten great grandchildren, Rebecca Seufert, Rachel Seufert, Jacob Austin Johnson, Jordan Johnson, Ryan Seufert, Dominic Go, Jocelyn Smith, Marissa Go, Tyler Go and Leyanna Go.
Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, August 26, 2016, at Roller Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 27, 2016, at the Roller Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Elizabeth Hall Cemetery in New Blaine under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
With deepest sympathy on the loss of Uncle Austin, He will be missed by all.
