Thomas Jefferson (TJ) Pridgin, Jr. a lifelong resident of Scranton, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2015.
He was born September 9, 1920, to Thomas Jefferson and Mayoma Rachel Palmer Pridgin. He was preceded in death by five brothers and five sisters.
He is survived by his sons, David and Gary, both of Scranton and his daughters-in-law, Reba and Patty. Mary Jane Spillers, Lori Jean Garvey, Nicholas Scott Pridgin, Kari Jo Tedford, David Pridgin, Jr. Ryan Gregory Pridgin and Jordan Michael Pridgin are his seven grandchildren. T.J. also has seven great grandchildren. T.J. is also survived by the mother of his sons.
T.J. served in the Army Air Corp during WWII. During his lifetime he farmed, hauled milk stored in cans from farmers to a creamery in Ozark and was a heavy equipment operator operating a bull dozer for many years.
Memorials may be made to the Clarksville Senior Citizens Center.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., on Monday, August 17, 2015 at the Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at the Prairie View Cemetery with Mr. Lee Pridgin, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Roller Funeral Home. His burial will be near other family members.
Pallbearers will be his grandchildren
My condolences to the Pridgin family. I have memories of T.J. driving the milk truck and picking up our milk ever day as well as being a close neighbor.

In the time I have gotten to know TJ . I just fell in love with him. I got to dance with him a few times before he just couldn't any more. He was such a gentleman. He was funny and so sweet. My heart goes out too the family. Heartfelt Prayers . Lonnie and I Will miss him. So thankful for the privilege to know and love him!
